VOTE FOR THE 50th TREE

We hope that you have enjoyed exploring our small representative group of Milton Keynes diverse and beautiful trees and in the process discovered parts of the city perhaps unknown to you and maybe also found your own favourite trees or special story.

To accord with the tradition of growing trees for future generations we will be planting our own fiftieth tree to mark Milton Keynes 50th anniversary but we want you to decide what tree we plant.

The shortlist of three species to vote for all feature in our 49 so please look back to learn more about them.

We invite you to vote for one of the following trees;

Common Oak (Quercus robur)
English/Common Walnut (Juglans regia)
Common Lime (Tilia x europaea)

David Lock Associates prepared the award-winning master plan for Brooklands and we are proud to continue to be involved with the implementation of this new neighbourhood being delivered by Places for People. It is with many thanks to Places for People that we will be planting the most voted for tree in the new linear park being created at Brooklands prior to the end of Milton Keynes 50th celebrations in 2017.
